Geographical situation: To the south of the Côte de Beaune, between Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet. The Corvées des Vignes climat is adjacent to Meursault, and its neighbours include Meursault Les Charmes.
Grape variety: 100 % Chardonnay
Soil and subsoil: very deep, clayey soil, ruddy and rich in iron, only slightly calcareous.
Planting density: 10 101,01 vines / ha
Yield: 41 hl / ha
Rootstock: massal selection only.

History

Cluny Abbey received the land around Puligny in 1095, and the monks developed the vines there. The seigniory was held by the Mypont family, then by the Dukes of Burgundy under Philippe the Hardy, and later by Burgundy nobles.
