After the harvest, the first work to be done involves
applying preparation 500P, or ‘horn dung’,
enriched with six biodynamic preparations that
promote soil balance. It was applied to the entire
vineyards between 22 and 29 and October.
This was followed by preparing for vine planting
and digging holes for replanting 10,000 vines
this year. Organic amendments were then
applied to the vineyard in November.
Finally, the last and most important step in winter work
on the vines is the crucial moment of pruning, until
the spring when the wood is removed and shredded.
We will now be preparing for the arrival of
spring by applying preparation 500 from early

Our 4.5-hectare monopole vineyard, acquired by the
estate in 2021, has gained Ecocert organic growing
certification after three years of organic cultivation.
This label was obtained following rigorous ongoing
checks from each year to the next (as is done across
the entire estate), confirming the reliably good organic
practice implemented in the vineyard and winery,
supported by impeccable administrative monitoring.
Each step is precise and follows an uncompromising
protocol. All organic treatments are monitored
in the plot and from an accounting perspective,
and declaration forms are checked. Soil analyses
are performed several times a year and provide
supporting figures that prove why this approach
of respect for natural life is worthwhile.

Ecocert devotes an entire day to auditing the whole
estate in minute detail, even including a physical and
accounting inventory of the crop treatment room.
This commitment to virtuous cultivation is integral
to the domaine, and even such a trying vintage as
2024 has not called this philosophy into question: to
make wines teeming with the life of their terroir
thanks to their organic and biodynamic cultivation.
