Spring has sprung and the first delicate flowers are opening in the sun, the light is rising and the subtlest of fragrances exude from the warming earth. The vegetative cycle is officially underway in our vineyards.
Our beautifully named Beaune Montagne Saint Désiré is a spring wine par excellence. It comes from a very high parcel overlooking Beaune, from a limestone vein so favourable to the expression of Burgundy’s white wines, which extends southwards to the Grand Crus route....
This sharp wine is rich in purity and feels delightfully intense on the palate…
