The lifting begins

Antoine, our vineyard manager, and Rachele, one of our winegrowers, are taking care of the lifting in our large plot of Savigny-lès-Beaune Premier Cru Les Marconnets in 30-degree temperatures; a scorching heat that has reigned over Burgundy for just a few days, making the vines grow at an intense rate!
The young shoots are passed between two wires to keep the plant upright, to ensure the small bunches form in the sun, and so that the foliage that feeds the plant is well spread out. A race against time that starts now and will continue for around a month.
