Our new vineyard manager arrived at the beginning of the year. With thirty years of experience in different estates in Burgundy and a passion for viticulture, he seized the opportunity presented of the combination of great terroirs and biodynamics at Domaine de la Vougeraie.

This native of Burgundy, born in the nearby Saône plain, quickly realised that his vocation lay in the vineyards. Having explored every aspect of them, the vines and the wine cellar hold absolutely no secrets for him, from the plant to vinification.

He has brought rigour and organisation, which are indispensable to the smooth running of our estate which stretches over 40km and 150 parcels of the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune! Inspired by living matter, and by the extraordinary plant that is the vine, he also has a passion for ancient varieties of fruit trees and for flowers. This special connection with nature in both its widest and most intimate sense is fully aligned with our philosophy of magnifying its most precise expression in our day-to-day work.
